Maths in Room 8

Over the past couple of weeks we have been looking at Measurement in Mathematics. Here are some pictures of us learning about different aspects of Measurement:

   Above is a practical activity involving estimating weight of marbles and how long a boat will take to sink.

 Above is an activity where students are weighting different objects using kitchen scale, then converting the unit from grams to kilograms.
